Sandra Nabil, M.A. Clinical Psychologist / Marriage and Family Therapist
Sandra Nabil holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Azusa Pacific University (APU), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the American University in Cairo (AUC). With a diverse background, Sandra has gained valuable experience working in various settings, including NGOs, inpatient and outpatient facilities. She has worked extensively with migrants and refugees facing challenges such as depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and adapting to new communities and the associated stressors while collaborating with Médecins Sans Frontières. Additionally,
Sandra has worked in a rehabilitation facility, providing support to individuals recovering from addiction. Her expertise extends to working with individuals and couples in multiple clinics. Sandra is passionate about helping individuals navigate personal and relational issues, such as self-awareness, self-esteem, adjustment, fear, shame, guilt, intimacy, communication, and establishing boundaries. She is wellversed in addressing clinical concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and addiction. Believing that psychotherapy is a transformative journey, Sandra creates a safe and supportive environment for her clients. Within this space, clients can freely express their emotions without judgment. Together with Sandra, clients analyze their thoughts to identify helpful and hindering patterns, guiding them towards more constructive actions. Through gaining insight, understanding, and processing, clients experience personal growth, increased responsibility, and acceptance.
